H.A.M is a design studio founded by myself, Nina Lilliebjerg and Kim Cowie in September 2012.

H.A.M was a small Edinburgh based student design agency. It was part of the 'Agency Project' that won first prize at the Guardian University Awards in the Employability Initiative category. This program not only helped prepare us for life after graduating but also gave us the opportunity to work with a diverse range of Scottish design agencies with live briefs, learning about all aspects of a working design agency; in this case being a Creative Director.

A month after forming, H.A.M gained another five members: two senior designers, two junior designers and an intern. Collectively, the aim was to consistently produce strong concepts and ideas. We created bold design which, when appropriate, has a cheeky, humorous edge. At H.A.M, we believe that wit can be a powerful tool when it comes to communication - if you can make people smile, you can also make them question why.
